The Jumping Bug was obtained by redeeming the code JUMPBUG, added on September 13, 2021 as a "token of appreciation" for fan's patience concerning a major bug that did not allow any players to jump or reset in the game, thus its name. This was a Roblox-wide issue, because Roblox made a change to a HumanoidStateType enum which altered the behavior of the Humanoid itself. The developers made a small change on their part to counter this issue, and as a result, the bug was successfully fixed. The blade shows a cartoon praying mantis in some grass, complete with a yellow hilt and black handle, with no added effects. It has normal range and sound effects if equipped when playing as the killer.
