Porsche 917K

The 1969 Porsche 917K is a German mid-engine, sports-prototype racing car which raced at the 24 Hours of Le Mans championship, winning in 1970 and 1971. It is a Class 3 event vehicle that added in the 2022 Classics Cars Update alongside the Aston Martin DB5, BMW M3 "E30", Bugatti EB 110 SS, Chevrolet Bel Air, Ferrari Testarossa, Nissan Skyline 2000GT-R and Plymouth Barracuda. The 917K has decent top speed and good handling. It only has 5 forward gears, which makes its acceleration more consistent than cars with higher gear numbers as shifting does mildly slow your car down. It is naturally best used in circuit but is still fairly powerful on other races. Overall, getting this car is recommended as it is reasonably competitive and will likely be very rare in the future.
