The 2016 Ford Explorer Police Interceptor is an American police mid-size crossover SUV. It is a Class 2 dealership vehicle that was added in the 2022 Police Update Part I alongside the Dodge Charger Pursuit, Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor, Police Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4, Lenco SWAT Truck and Police Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series. It later received an interior in the 2024 The Hunt Update. While it might not look like it, has a decently high acceleration for a non-electric SUV. Its quarter mile time is around 12 seconds, which is almost as good as the $1.1 million Ford GT of around a 1 second difference, making this a good vehicle for beginners.
