It was a Class 2 event vehicle that was added in the 2022 Barn Find Update (Although the Shelby was the 2nd Barn of that year, preceeded by the Porsche 917K) alongside the Lotus Elise. obtainable by completing 13 quests in the Barn Hunt event. It was removed alongside the Shelby Daytona in the 2024 Christmas Update upon the licensing of the Shelby brand, and was softly replaced by several Shelby roadsters, most similarly include the Cobra 427 Roadster and 427 Cobra "CSX 6000", though none were a direct replacement of the specification that the AC was.
Being a tier 2 car, it's faster than the Wraith, Viper GTS, S15 Pro, and the Shelby GT500, but it's slower than other high-end class 2 cars, like the Urus. Its acceleration is averagely recorded at 3.4 seconds feels decent, while the handling is slightly fair to control.
